This linen liner adds a refined touch to the already sophisticated design of Plein Aire frames, making it the perfect complement to any painting.

The 3" wide flat molding boasts a raised and rounded top edge with an offset inner groove. The 1/2" deep rabbet allows for framing flat artworks behind glass, or even 3/4" deep canvases with the use of offset clips. Superbly constructed and equipped with hanging hardware such as D-rings and screws, Plein Aire frames are composed of solid wood coated in gesso for a flawless surface.

Featuring a simple yet elegant design available in five classic finishes, Plein Aire frames are ideal for framing art panels and 3/4" pre-stretched canvases. These frames have sturdy gessoed wood construction and a 3" wide molding with a raised edge. The gold 9X12 frame includes a 1-inch linen liner in off-white to beautifully offset any painting (with 3/4” showing).
